Greeting by Management director

REIWA Facility is an architectural firm dedicated to supporting our clients’ facility management needs. We are a Japanese–Malaysian joint venture founded by myself, who has over 35 years of experience in international and Japanese projects, together with a Malaysian architect who also has extensive experience in numerous Japanese projects.

In Japan, the concept of extending a building’s lifespan through long-term maintenance is now well established. However, around 35 years ago, when I obtained my First-Class Architect license during Japan’s economic bubble, demolition and rebuilding were still the standard approach.

Today, Malaysia and many other Asian countries are in a similar stage to where Japan was 35 years ago. However, they are gradually shifting their focus toward building maintenance and infrastructure asset management. This trend is reflected in the growing adoption of Building Information Modeling (BIM) for building approvals and project management in many countries.

Recognizing these trends in Asian countries, we have decided to establish an architectural firm specializing in maintenance and facility management services. We aim to provide Japanese facility management services in Malaysia and other Asian countries.

REIWA Facility operates under the philosophy of “contributing to the creation of value for facilities” through maintenance, and contributes to our clients’ strategic approach of transforming facilities from “costs (maintenance)” to “management resources (value creation).”
